The Guest Experience

The Guest Experience

Why Creative Participation Matters More Than Ever at Events

There’s a meaningful shift happening in how we gather. Whether it’s a wedding, a corporate retreat or a community showcase, events today aren’t just visual — they’re experiential. There’s a growing desire for gatherings that invite guests to take part, not just take in.

That’s why interactive design moments — hands-on, tactile, creative — are trending. At a Bouquet Box Flower Bar, we offer guests a way to do something, to create, to share, and in doing so, to remember the experience more personally.

A flower bar fits into this new era of event design precisely because it’s stunning, simple and unexpectedly magnetic. People gather. Conversations start. Suddenly, you have a memory. And more often than not, new friends and always a beautiful bouquet to take home and enjoy for days to come.

Recently, our East Bay/Wine Country team joined the LOVE ReKindled showcase at Paradise Ridge Winery, a beautifully curated event that brought together planners, venues and creative partners from across the region to celebrate this scenic space, just a few after a wildfire had devastated the area. And while the landscape was stunning and the styling impeccable, what truly defined the evening was the thoughtful sense of collaboration between vendors and the care given to the guest experience.

In that sense, while the flower is the perfect activation to enhance the guest experience—it is also about showing up as part of a creative community. Working alongside planners, stylists, musicians and other artists reminds us that every element of an event has a role to play. The most memorable gatherings are the ones where all those roles support each other—where the design, the flow and the experience feel cohesive and intentional.

“The LOVE ReKindled showcase at Paradise Ridge Winery was the perfect blend of beauty, creativity, and community,” shared Kathy Holzmann, owner of the East Bay/Wine Country Bouquet Box Flower Bar. “Watching guests connect through flowers and create a meaningful favor made the evening truly special. It was also a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow partners. We are always inspired by the connections that come from events like this.”

That’s the kind of event culture we’re proud to be part of. One that values creativity, collaboration and the small details that make the whole event feel personal.
